Founder’s Statement: Rogerio Scotton
At the intersection of passion, injustice, and perseverance, Legal Help 4 You was born. My name is Rogerio Scotton. I am a former professional race car driver who competed across top-tier series such as Grand-Am, American Le Mans, ARCA, NASCAR, Motorola Cup, and SCCA Pro Cup. My journey from the fast lanes of international racetracks to the trenches of the American legal system is one of unexpected adversity—and purpose.
In 2012, I found myself the target of a deeply flawed federal prosecution. Despite never waiving my constitutional right to legal representation, I was ultimately forced to represent myself during a complex, five-week federal criminal trial. I was convicted on charges that, to this day, remain heavily disputed—based on claims that packages I allegedly shipped never arrived and caused no quantifiable financial harm. No Brazilian customs records exist confirming receipt. Major shipping carriers later acknowledged that those parcels were never even sent. Still, I was denied fair legal representation, and I suffered the full weight of a system that too often penalizes poverty and ignores truth.
Rather than allowing this injustice to define or destroy me, I dedicated myself to studying law, understanding constitutional rights, and fighting for those who, like me, were left voiceless in courtrooms that too often favor procedure over truth, and profit over justice.
Why Legal Help 4 You Exists
I founded Legal Help 4 You LLC to ensure that no one has to stand alone when facing life-altering legal battles. We are not attorneys. We do not offer legal advice or legal representation. What we do is connect individuals with licensed, experienced attorneys across criminal defense, civil litigation, immigration, and appellate practice—and we assist pro se litigants in understanding and navigating the legal system.
We work with a trusted network of attorneys who share our belief in justice, fairness, and constitutional integrity. In many cases, these professionals offer affordable solutions for clients who might otherwise be priced out of their own defense. And in cases where no legal representation is financially possible, we guide clients through the mechanics of preparing their own filings, sourcing proper court documents, understanding procedural requirements, and asserting their rights under the law—always with full transparency that we do not represent them nor give legal advice.
Our Mission: Legal Literacy, Not Legal Representation
In an era where even public defenders are often overburdened and under-motivated, Legal Help 4 You stands as a bridge—between the forgotten and the professionals who can truly help them. We empower clients with knowledge, access, and integrity. Our paralegals, researchers, and legal educators operate under strict ethical boundaries, ensuring that every person we assist understands the scope of our support and the importance of their own informed decision-making.
We are educators. We are connectors. And we are advocates for dignity in a legal system that too often lacks it.
A Message to Critics
To those who question whether our work crosses legal boundaries: We are fully compliant with all laws governing the unauthorized practice of law. We do not file documents on behalf of clients. We do not argue in court. We do not offer legal advice. Instead, we provide educational support, strategic referrals, and a framework of empowerment—so that individuals facing the crushing weight of the legal system do not have to face it blindly.
From Injustice to Action
The injustices I faced—and continue to fight—are not unique. Every day, people suffer because they cannot afford justice. Legal Help 4 You is my answer to that injustice. And I am not alone. We are supported by attorneys, advocates, and community leaders who believe, as I do, that justice should never be reserved for the privileged few.
If you or someone you love is facing a legal crisis, know this: you are not alone. And while we may not represent you, we will stand with you and help you find the right people who can.
